June 22 - Update

Dear Lamont Elementary Families,

Congratulations on making it through the Alternative Learning environment with your child and happy summer to you! We are looking forward to the opportunity to say farewell on Wednesday or Thursday this week. If you have not yet signed up for a time, please call the school office to select an available time.

When you arrive for your scheduled time, please enter through the main doors. The teachers in PALS – Grade 2 will be set up in the Activity Room and the teachers in grades 3-6 will be in the gym. Each teacher will be set up at a table with a library return bin, technology bin, and textbook bin for your convenience. If there are items that your child needs to take with them, please be assured that they would have already been placed on the teacher’s table by the end of today, labelled with your child’s name. There will be appropriate signage to outline the one-way flow of visitors through the designated areas. In order for us to safely provide this opportunity, please ensure your visit is within the time slot you selected. This will not be a usual good-bye, but it will be wonderful to see everyone!

We are asking that all borrowed items be returned by the end of the day Thursday, June 25. Any items that are not returned will show as a charge in your school fee account. Thank you very much for your cooperation with this so we can get everything finalized before we head into the summer break.

If you are unable to attend on Wednesday or Thursday and have items to return, please contact your child’s teacher or the school office to arrange a drop off time.

Lost and found items will be out on tables as you enter the school. Please look carefully and touch only what belongs to your family to take with you.

Report cards will be available for you to view through your Parent Portal account by 3 p.m. on Friday, June 26.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us here at the school.

Have a fantastic day!

Sincerely,

Judy Anderson

Principal
